We have a pandemic. Our cities are no longer honest. Our cities are riddled with infants; inexperienced structures of form. Architecture has become fashion, where priority in innovation exceeds sustainability. We are embarking on a pandemic of disappearance. The current state of architecture is one embedded in the desire for rapid transformation. We no longer strive for architectural longevity. Our obsessive technological literacy has transformed our process from one of permanence to fleeting ephemerals.
